reskinning models

trying to figure out how to reskin some of the trains, have read postes here, but evertime i try to load the new skin in game, it crashes, it cannot find some files. am i doing something wroung?

Well I've had more than one 'slip-up' myself. :lol:

Could you please tell us which paint program you are using and which train(s) you are working on?

The last time I saw a message like that concerned the Consolidation and the Eight Wheeler. Any change to the Profile resulted in a crash, even if nothing was changed in the file - just saved under a new name.

well trying to redo the gp35, using gimp2 to redo the skin lest on this compter, also i have photoshop 5 on other compter have not tryed on that one yet. I can make new gp 35, if i change noething, if i cahnge colors on skin it crahes, and says cannot find files.

First I suggest you check out the threads on skinning both here and at www.gathering.com.

I'm not familiar with gimp or photoshop, unfortunately.

Got it to work with photoshops, howevere the other program saved them, the game did not like. Now i just wish i had a way to look at the train without going in game to look at it, to see if itlook okay, when i am reskinning them. Thanks for the help btw.
