There is a pack of new logos for downloading, some historical and some made-up. I hope there's at least one in the lot that you like.

Logos: These tend to be large. I put most of the the 'round' logos on a background
because I had to learn how the Alpha Channel worked. The one exception is the N&W,
which has a funny faint line down the left side & bottom. Help curing this
would be appreciated.

The 'non-historic' logos are a little eye-catching; this was deliberate.
I like to be able to find my 'stuff' easily!

*** Historic ***
Blue Star - China
L & N - Louisville & Nashville
Lehigh - Lehigh Valley
Hiawatha - A logo of the famous streamlined train of the Milwaukee Road
Hiawatha2 - A different version of the running Hiawatha
M & P - Maryland & Pennsylvania, the 'Ma & Pa' - originally round
N & W - Norfolk & Western
NCRR - North Carolina Railroad
PennRR - Old-style scrollwork Pennsylvania Railroad
Red River - Red River RR, Texas and Oklahoma - originally round
Sierra - Sierra Railroad

*** Non-historic (ie, made-up) ***
BBelt - Red & Green diagonal with script 'B' in buckle
CkbdStar - Checkerboard Star
Crown - Crown logo with striping
P - My first try; metallic
Star Central - Central Railroad with diagonal stars in blue
VRR - Script VRR and scrollwork on cracked paint

Casey,
You're very welcome. If you have a favorite that hasn't been done yet, or if you would like a custom logo of your own, please let me know.

Comments and constructive criticism will encourage me to make more. :)

Nice work, Liesel - I use the Boston & Maine fairly often in 'Gilded Age' and I've used the Chesapeake & Ohio logo, too. Thanks for putting these up for us.

I once had an Alaska Railroad T-shirt with the nose of an old steam loco topped by moose antlers - very funny. The Alaska RR logo does bring back some memories.

Anyway, thank you!

I'm creating a library of user made logos, which I'll post centrally some time in the future.
Liesl, can you tell me anything of the small local lines which ran around Westphalia in the seventies, were they part of the Bundes Bahn or locally owned. I rode them a lot from village to village but my mind wasn't rail oriented then so I don't remember details. I've a feeling they were 2 carriage diesels mostly.

Hallo Kriss,

its difficult to say is as a private local line or a "Bundesbahn" line. In Westphalia are been some private lines.
The most lines are part of the "Bundesbahn".

Is this the carriage diesel?
