New Map Contest?

Now that the latest update has been out for a while could it be time for the next map making contest?

Or is everyone too busy skinning their trains? ;)

A map contest sounds like fun. A train-skinning contest sounds fun too, though I don't know where you'd find a floor big enough to display the rug after you skinned it. :lol:

Speaking iof contests...is anyone willing to tell us what slice of what country we were working on in the last contest?

As far as contests...right now I'm replaying all the scenarios (including the campaigns) under the new patches.

The last map was of the West Coast of Africa at about the center point where the coastline almost turned to the South. I modified it a bit or more.

I'm ready for a contest.

I'm playtesting it, and I still have 1 event unused. Last night I drove a GG1 across a dry lake bed and broke Mach 1. That was one fine ride!

So, the 'Getaway Special' is ready to roll.


I got so caught up in the map that I even wrote out a 'Visitors Guide to planet Getaway'. Unless the webmaster objects, I'll post some of that after Christmas.
