I know I threw in a couple "GOTCHA'S" in Paphalophagus, but I certainly didn't plan these.

It didn't start until I painted some Regions and adjusted the industry. :?
Anyone noticed this before?
I believe the double pier port is an upgrade.
I have seen farms without buildings before - maybe it is a problem at certain zoom settings.

believe the double pier is a random upgrade. I've had it happen fairly often. I never had tenant farms before. What year are you in?

I don't think it has anything to do with zoom settings. They're like that anyway you look at them.
This scenario is set between 1895-1910.
I've reverted to my back-up of the map, before I started painting Regions. I've got 'till the 19th, so I may try the Region thing again. When the time comes, if I haven't got it working right, I'll just upload what I have. It's still playable without the Regions painted, but I would like to try and figure out what I did wrong. :?
Glad to know the double pier is normal, I've just never noticed it before.

Not enough water in Arizona to have a port. Don't know what one looks like.

It would be interesting to know if the farms produce without a building.
I would almost bet they do. Nothing wrong with having a buildingless farm. Might be interesting.
In RRt2 I planted farms on the edge of a city and then cover the cropland with water, so that only the building would show on land. Anyone planting a station in that city would get what the farm produced as well ,as if the produce had been hauled in by wagon or truck.
GeeWizz maybe I caused the new economy model. I'm sorry.

From what I could tell in the cargo supply screen, they weren't producing at all.
Shame I deleted that map. I might try to reproduce that again.

OK! I was able to reproduce the anomaly. It doesn't look like they produce. See for yourselves.

All I did was paint 7 regions and adjust the industry, per region, so that the industry was more spread out and localized to a specific region. IE: coal, iron, & oil in the mountains-Farms in the flat land, etc.

When you compare the number of farms that are supossed to be there to the number actually there do the numbers correspond? When you're setting up a region's industry list in the editor, it shows you how many total industries should be placed in the region based on building density slider for that region and overall building density. If you go to the event debugger under "Buildings" (I think) it will show you how many total of each industry has been placed on the map (after you start the scenario of course).

I believe the double pier port is an upgrade.I knew I'd seen it somewhere too. Check out the Gallery (http://www.railroadtycoon.info/gallery.htm) where I uploaded a screenshot.

There is a simple explanation:
No Production? - No Workers
No Workers? - No Bosses
No Bosses? - NO OFFICE (usually in the building)
Was there and EARTHQUAKE???????
Or, was it civil insurrection?

Good news (well, not actually good). Kra said he's seen this before and claims it to be a bug. He said it's on his bug and wish list.

Don't know if I would classify it as "Good News" Hawk. We all have bug and "wish" lists longer than some peoples attitude from the "other place" (including mine), but VERY LITTLE is being addressed.
On sort of another note, have you ever ran the game CREDITS? It's like the end of a Hollywood Blockbuster! I know a lot of names are repeated, but there sure were a bunch of people involved in this game.
One thing to ask: Because game music is much lower than game sounds, and because it seems like I only notice about half those songs playing, the credits had someone on VOCALS.
Has anyone heard any singing? :? :? :?

Has anyone heard any singing? :? :? :?Hmmm... is that under the music section? Or just a general credit for vocals? Cos if it's general then it could be for the old dude that does the dodgy voice-overs in the campaign.....

The last 2 shots with the bridges: have you done them in the editor or what? (assume it, due to your comment)
because in the game there are always that stupid grades....they should be removed, shouldn't they?

Actually, those shots of the bridges came from the game, not the editor.
I guess the river made just the right cut. :D
