Ok, so what other strategy or simulation type games do you play?
Must admit I'm a sucker for anything with "Tycoon" in the title, although at the moment the man strategy games I'm playing are the "Medieval Total War" series.

Hi, I do enjoy playing Diablo11 expansion and Transport Tycoon. Have just got back into RT3 after about 12 months absence and am enjoying it all over again.

Not a bad thread for a first post...
At the moment I'm shifting back towards my PC gaming roots and playing sand-box type strategy and world-builder games (after playing fantasy and sci-fi MMOs for a few years).
I've picked up RRT2, RRT3, and Railroads! within the past 2 weeks - having a vague recollection that I'd once been addicted to Maxis' A-Train and RT Deluxe some years ago.
I'm looking forward to the next installment of the X series of games (X3: Terran Conflict) from Egosoft. I used to leave the prior iteration of that game running on it's own 24/7 - checking in periodically to see if the scripted AI "pilots" in my empire were still operating profitably (or if they were blown up by the bad guys). It was a lot like having pet fish, except I didn't have to clean the tank.
I'm looking forward to building another space-based trading empire again, while I read the RRT2 and 3 manuals.
Anyway, glad I found a site with tech info and mods/resources relating to these games. I'll try to contribute something - if only to answer a tech support question or two - in return for my complete plunder and pillage of the downloads section here. :)

Plunder and pillage away. That's what they're there for.
